The new and changed advances is the meat of the site. Please post any comments you have about the changes and the new advances in the forum! Before you do, its probably a good idea to review the advances as a whole, as many changes concerns more than one card.
They are as complete as I can make them. I'm fairly satisfied with all of the art on the cards (in fact many look better than the originals!). Keep in mind that for eighteen players having a set with 51 cards for each would be, to put it mildly, extremely difficult. I would recommend that unless you want to spend LOTS of time printing, cutting and presenting the individual cards that you simply print up and pass out the Advances Quick Chart listed below!
We are currently not 100% satisfied with the illustrations for all cards. If you happen to find good line artwork for any card, please post in the forum, or send it to Jonno

This sheet is designed to let the computer quickly determine the actual cost of a civilization advance after taking all credits into account.
You'll only has to place an x left of the name for the credits you purchase, and distribute the optional credits from "Wonder of the World" and "Monument" (see the comments in the cells M2 - R2).
NB: The Credit Calculator does *NOT* work when printed, as it relies upon the calculations done by the computer. If you try to print it you will get a Credit Quick Chart without the extra information used for calculations.
To ease manual human calculations, please use the credit tokens above.

Four of the new advances were borrowed from the Spanish magazine Alea, Issue #21. All four of the cards, Diplomacy, Calendar, Fundamentalism (formally Fanaticism) and Naval Warfare have been changed significantly rules-wise. I have kept the nice artwork though ;-).
The remainder new civilization advances are mainly the work of John Rodriguez (Velusion), with some input from the forums, and the original ones are, of course, property of Avalon Hill.
Thanks to busybody for the credits calculator and Jonno for the credit tokens.
