Ancient history has always been an interest of mine, though I'm far from being an historian. Mix it with my other favorite interest, games, and hey... you've got my attention. I've always been a sucker for a good game with an ancients theme.

Ancient Indus Valley Civilization - A great site which will give you more information about the little known but very impressive and advanced Indus Civilization which flourished around 2,500BC.
Cyrus the Great - Persia - A detailed site with maps and text covering Cyrus the great, one of the greatest Persian kings. Cyrus's tomb graces the Masonry civilization card in the expansion.
The Roman Empire - Rome anyone? A good site with lots of info and a great forum board.

The Ancient World - Lots of info. Great for beginners or novices interested in all aspects of ancient History.
AncientWorlds - This site is like crack for ancient history buffs. If you have a question, someone on this massive site can probably answer it for you. Recommended.
Greek & Roman Science & Technology - Great site with fantastic timelines of the technological advancements of Greek and Roman civilizations. I found it very useful.
Prehistory Exhibits - Good site with a lot of info on a variety of ancient civilizations from Greece to Japan.
CivWeb for DWC - College site devoted to links and info on a variety of ancient civilizations. Lots of links!
Livius - A really good site with hundreds of linked articles on ancient civilizations. Lots of info on Persia.
Ancient & Lost Civilizations - This is a weird site because the owner claims to be psychic, believes in crystals, etc. However I can't knock the huge collection of links, material and info she has (most which seems to come from textbooks). Take it all with a grain of salt, but I found it useful
Balcanica - Great maps and info on the Balkans, the maps of ancient Thrace and Illyria are very cool.
World Cultures - Lots and Lots of info on a variety of ancient civilizations.
Philosophy of History - Strange site that deals with controversial historical topics. You won't find a better site giving great overviews of the flux of ancient civilizations though. Has fantastic maps as well.
Ancient World Mapping Center - Get your maps here! Very nice site with tons of historical maps.
