The Core Rulebook

Not much fanfare here... though I should describe what you're getting. The Core Rulebook is the complete rulebook on how to play Civilization: The Expansion Project from the beginning to the end. It is not just a list of changes. This means that anyone who has never played civilization before can download this rulebook and will find everything they need to play the entire game.
If you know how to play Advanced Civ, you'll likely not have to use the rulebook very much, as the cards themselves are already very self-descriptive.

As a note to some who have asked, simply because there are a few additional rules for allowing aggressive play such as Naval Warfare and cards akin to Monotheism does not in any way mean this is a more "war-game" like version of Advanced Civ. I think anyone who goes into this game planning on being very aggressive will still probably have his ass handed to them. Just like the original Advanced Civ, if you play this as a war-game you will most likely lose. Being aggressive is beneficial in certain circumstances, but it can be a sure fire way to lose the game if played incorrectly.

The Optional Rulebook

This small booklet contains some optional rules for shorter games and game varriety, as well as some minor varriant games. It is in no way nessesary, but can be useful and/or interesting.
